Kettering our luckiest field

Yesterday Vivek "Cool" Natarajan got a call from the WMCB match secretary Ibrahim Ali asking him about our decision on a home field (for home games that will be played away!!!). Ibrahim Ali wanted a decision in half an hour sending our already cool nerves Vivek into a fit. So after almost a an hour of deliberations and a telephone poll we chose "Oxon Hill" to be our home ground. Lady luck seems to be on our side though. Sajid Masood the guy whose team maintains Kettering field called Vivek and asked him if we were interested in playing at Kettering. Vivek did some brilliant bargaining with inputs from "The" Batman and we got Kettering Field as our home field for $600. There is just one glitch in the whole scheme of things. It seems that no club in our pool this year is willing to play at Flower Gardens. You win some...you lose some!!
